Lifting Up the Soul

Your soul has a relationship with God. When you lift up your soul to Jehovah God, you are coming face to face—spirit to spirit—with your Creator. This is the relationship you were designed to have. It is an eternal relationship with the One who loves you most. Psalm 25 focuses on that close relationship with God by looking at the different ways that Satan tries to cast down one’s soul. Satan, our Adversary, attempts to take the soul away from God’s presence. Psalm 25 speaks of the devices Satan is using to keep your beautiful soul from the most fulfilling relationship in existence, that is, your relationship with God. The writer of this psalm is believed to be David, and David’s life reveals the soul-struggles we go through today. This study is being posted to encourage Christian women to use what God gave them to go to Him, to focus on Him, to lift up the soul to God when Satan attacks.

Begin “Lifting Up the Soul” by Coming into God’s Presence

This study is designed to speak to women in Christ, women who believe Jesus is their savior and have accepted and obeyed His invitation to put off the old man of sin and put on Christ. A soul stained by sin cannot come into the presence of Jehovah God or have an eternal relationship with Him because God does not look on sin. If you are unsure of your soul’s situation, please read Coming to Him the True and Only Way.
