Strength in Suffering is a series of lessons developed for Christian women who are undergoing hardships and need reviving and hope. The posts will follow the letter Paul writes to the Christians in Philippi as both he and they are facing persecution. He discusses their position as citizens of a heavenly home, and he works them through their doubt and discouragement. The Philippian letter is an excellent resource for teaching us to step out of self-condemnation and guilt and to step into the acts of love that unify us as God’s sisters all working toward the same goal: Heaven.
